MiFID

On 1st November 2007, Law 3606/2007 was implemented, for the Financial Instruments markets, which incorporates the provisions of the relevant European Directive 2004/39/EC of the European Parliament and Council, widely known as the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), into the Greek law.

This directive aims to provide investors with increased protection, stimulate competition, foster cross-border provision of investment services in the EU, as well as promote market transparency.

The audit and consulting company PriceWaterHouseCoopers was the company’s consultant in the preparation of the implementation of Law 3606/2007, which incorporates the MiFID.
